You are right, I probably won't try it.....I don't mind tuning to other tunings if I have various peices to play in that tuning, like open G or open D, I can play some fingepicking stuff and then play slide also........but, I haven't played in anything other than standard and drop-D for quite some time----maybe I need a little stretching.
